Performance of Work: The Tactical Unmanned Aerial Support Facility Project Consisted of Several Seperate Elements
The TUAS Building: C-2 Constructed a two story building with offices, maintenance bays, support areas, and a mezzanine. This structure is approximately 15000 Sf. and included the following components during construction, Steel, CMU, Brick, Glass Block, doors, windows, flooring, electrical, mechanical, and interior finishes. As you can see by the image above the structure required an incredible level craftsmanship to complete.
The Hazmat Storage Building: This building, built to match the TUAS building was required for seperate storage of hazardous materials.
Leed Construction Items (Green Building Items): C-2 Construction installed 2 – 30,000 gallon underground storage tanks for a rain water recovery system. Essentially the rainwater and snow run off is collected from the paved areas, roofs etc. and stored in these tanks for irrigation use during the summer months. We also constructed a Photo Voltaic Panel Array to allow Idaho Army National Guard to sell power back to the local utility grid.
Exterior: There was extensive exterior grading to direct run off and rain water to the underground storage tanks. We installed new curbing, paving, CMU pavers around front of building, landscaping, lighting, mechanical building and a sprinkler system.
