Since our inception, we have accomplished a wide variety of project types, sizes, and complexities ranging in value from thousands to multi-millions of dollars. For instance: visitor’s centers, restricted point-of-entry gates, schools, maintenance shops, and similar facilities. Our civil works experience includes underground utilities, water systems, sewage treatment systems, and communications infrastructure. We have completed projects at locations with remote access, sensitive environmental sites, and places with restricted access. Over the past 17 years we have completed over 1500 projects. Our unique capabilities allow us the means to consistently deliver quality products, on-time, and within budget for our clients. These abilities help us maintain optimal business relations by working closely with our customers to provide the best experience possible.
How We Began
C-2 Construction, Inc. was founded in July of 2001 by John & Julie Cristobal: the owners of our company.
Since 1988 John has been involved in all aspects of general contracting construction. His project experience includes Crew Leader, General Foreman, Project Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, Lead Project Estimator, and Project Management. In total John has more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry.
John understands the importance of owner involvement and takes an active part in overseeing project development. He maintains regular communications with project management on job progress and performance; keeping customer satisfaction, construction milestones, and the quality and integrity of the project at the forefront. His personal goal is to see that each project is approached and accomplished with careful preparation, honest supervision, and quality workmanship.
Through our project management we establish one straightforward point of accountability for our customers. The Project Manager’s responsibilities include RFP issuance, site visit, award, design, construction, and Quality Control (QC) through project closeout and warranty.
- On-site Management: Project personnel and subcontractors are supervised by on-site management. This position is filled by our construction superintendents. This person is responsible for the direct production and performance of our contracts and will be positioned on site every day.
- Construction Team: The project manager is responsible for directing and consulting with our construction superintendent. This effective relationship allows for cohesive transitions; connecting the estimating and construction phases of the contract.
- Subcontractor Operations: Our construction superintendent is responsible for managing and communicating with all subcontractors working on the project. Subcontractor quality, performance, and productivity are monitored by our construction superintendents and are relayed back to project management. To assure that our contracts are on schedule and requirements are being met.
Collectively, our key personnel bring an average of 25 years in experience performing renovation, new, and design-build construction. Our project management staff is highly qualified to ensure the success of our projects.
